Sue Sladen
Business Operations Manager
Role:
Sue heads up the operations for Yorkshire Culture, overseeing the financial and legal aspects of company business. Her role includes issues such as contract compliance, liaising with the DCMS and other external bodies, and the provision of a range of corporate support to company projects.
Background:
Sue has a wide-ranging cultural background within the Public Sector having worked for three Local Authorities over a 15 year period. Her roles have included the operation & development of a museum/art gallery, attraction management, town twinning, promotional activity, major events, Resort management & tourism.
More recently Sue has spent time working for the Humber Playing Fields Association and Yorkshire Forward, where she was a member of the European Funding team. She joined the Yorkshire Culture team in October 2007.
Interests:
Sue's leisure time revolves around the busy schedule of her children's activities, mainly dancing & gymnastics, which involve long hours waiting in around in cars with a good book. In the rare spare moments Sue enjoys walking, embroidery & relaxing in the bath.
