Adam Carey
After qualifying as a doctor Adam specialized in obstetrics and gynaecology to become a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and accredited onto the UK specialist register. His subspeciality interests are reproductive endocrinology and nutrition.
Adam left the NHS in 1998 to actively develop the use of life-style and nutritional strategies to improve human performance, reduce the risk of disease and contribute to holistic medical management. He is the Head of Nutrition for the English Rugby Football Union, Chair of European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance and director of Pure Nutrition. Adam also presents for a number of health based television programmes.
