Information & Communications Manager
Role:
Ben is Yorkshire Culture’s Information and Communications Manager, he is responsible for the design and production of Yorkshire Culture’s literature, e-marketing and press activities. He provides public facing input on Yorkshire Culture’s projects and works with partners to ensure both the project and partner goals are met.
Background:
Ben’s career started in the City of London banking and finance industry before moving into advertising, sales and marketing. He worked for several of the internet advertising industry’s biggest companies before moving over to work on several start up projects. Ben relocated to Yorkshire and worked in the Marketing and Communications team at Yorkshire Forward before arriving at Yorkshire Culture in 2006.
Interests:
He is an avid, exiled fan of ‘The’ Arsenal rarely missing a match. A self confessed geek he also has a passion for old masters like Velazquez and obscure foreign films, especially the work of Hayao Miyazaki, Alfonso Cuarón and Pedro Almodóvar.
