Yorkshire Culture, supported by Yorkshire Forward, is offering unique opportunities to become part of the programming team for Cultural Olympiad activity, and related activities and events, in the Yorkshire region.
ASSISTANT TO THE CREATIVE PROGRAMMER
£20,000pa
This post will provide an administrative and public-facing role in support of the Creative Programmer for the region. Yorkshire Culture is looking for somebody with knowledge of the cultural sector who can provide effective and well targeted support, adapting rapidly to the environment and responding practically to team priorities.
The contract is initially funded through to 31st March 2010. Subject to securing further funding it is anticipated that the contract for the ‘Assistant to the Creative Programmer’ could be extended up to 2012.

THREE FREELANCE ASSOCIATE PRODUCERS for YORKSHIRE’S LEGACY TRUST PROGRAMME : I MOVE THEREFORE I AM
The first year’s contract is offered is £8,000, plus agreed expenses, which is expected to represent around 28 days work
To work alongside the Creative Programmer to develop a cohesive programme of events, projects and activity strands as part of Yorkshire’s Cultural Olympiad. The Associate Producers will form part of a Programme Group which will shape and deliver strands of activity, and projects within these to commission ready status, and a key resource to support promising ideas.
The contract will initially be awarded for one year with the option to extend for a second year, subject to satisfactory performance review, for which funding already exists. Subject to securing further funding, it is anticipated that the Associate Producer contracts could be extended up to 2012.
